Information you choose to share
Contact and contribution forms collect your name, email address, subject and message. Depending on your submission, we also receive business details, website or video links, general locations, photos, preferred credits and confirmation of your permission to share content. Website inquiries may include your business name and current website. Please do not send sensitive personal information or private locations you do not want considered for publication.
How we use submissions
We use this information to reply, verify details, review contributions, maintain listings and operate the site. Contact & Contribute submissions are saved in a private WordPress review area and emailed to hello@watersidesolutions.com. Photo attachments are processed into smaller images for email review; temporary processed files are deleted after the request. They are not automatically added to the public media library. Copies received in our email inbox remain available for review and follow-up.
Approved photos, videos, descriptions, business information and the credit you request may be published. Your contact email is not displayed publicly by the contribution form. Submitting does not subscribe you to marketing. See our Terms & Submission Guidelines for content permissions.
Technical information and cookies
Our hosting and website services may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and error logs to deliver and protect the site. The contribution form uses short-lived, hashed email and IP identifiers to limit repeat submissions. WordPress uses cookies for administrative sign-in and related functions; visitors do not need an account to contribute.
Google Analytics is connected through Google Site Kit to help us understand website use. Analytics may use cookies and process information such as visited pages, device and browser details, referrals and approximate location. Google explains its processing at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can manage cookies in your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies or external services may affect some features.
Videos, photos, maps and outside links
Some images and video thumbnails load from third-party providers, including Flickr and YouTube. YouTube players load when you choose to play a video and use the youtube-nocookie.com embed domain. Interactive maps may request map tiles from external providers. These requests can share your IP address, browser information and page context with the provider. Playing embedded content or following an outside link is also subject to that provider’s privacy practices. Privacy-enhanced video embeds do not mean no information is shared.
Who receives information
Waterside Solutions and authorized site administrators handle inquiries and submissions. Hosting, email, analytics and embedded-content providers process information needed for their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to address fraud, abuse or security issues. We do not sell contact-form submissions or add contributors to advertising lists. Publicly approved content is accessible to anyone and may be copied or indexed by others.
Retention and your choices
We retain submission records and correspondence as needed for review, replies, maintaining published content, documenting permission and resolving problems. These records do not automatically disappear after review. Published content and its permission records may be retained while the content remains in use. Hosting logs, email and backups follow the relevant service’s retention settings; deleted information may remain in backups until those backups expire.
Email us to ask about, correct or request deletion of information you supplied, or to request removal of a photo or listing. Include the relevant page or submission so we can find it. We may need to verify the request and retain limited records for security, legal obligations or evidence of permission. Rights available under applicable privacy laws depend on your location and circumstances.
Children and photo privacy
The contribution form is intended for adults. Please have a parent or guardian submit any content involving a child, with appropriate permission. Do not include a child’s contact details, school, home address or precise location. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
